Description
Our client based in Guildford are a reputable and privately owned business. We are recruiting on behalf of the Finance Director for a recently graduated student to study AAT (Support provided) and to gain experience working in an established and growing finance team.

Key Duties will include:

This is a great opportunity to gain on the job experience while studying for the AAT qualification. Working in an experienced Finance team you will get to experience the full spectrum of management accountancy within their industry.

  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Credit Control
  • Petty Cash Reconciliation
  • Fixed Assets, including depreciation
  • Accruals & prepayments
  • Sales day book
  • Cash suspense account
  • Other ad hoc tasks

Benefits:

£18k rising to £20k depending on experience.

Hours: 9am to 5pm (no long hours’ culture but work is expected to be done), 4 days in the office, 1 day at college.
25 days’ holiday plus the 8 bank holidays, the office closes over Xmas so some of your holiday is required to be used for this. Typically, 3-4 days.
2 x salary death in service.
