Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a successful and growing business based in Bromley, who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in accounts who is looking to take on a varied role within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
- Bank reconciliations and posting payments
- Assisting with month-end reporting and journals
- Credit control
- Preparing supplier payments and managing queries
- Supporting with VAT returns and ad hoc reporting
- General support to the Finance Manager and wider team
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and accounting software (experience with Sage would be an advantage)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
