Kenneth Brian Associates are exclusively partnering with a 4 partner Practice based in Leatherhead in their search for a Tax Assistant.
Our client has created this vacancy due to company growth, therefore, a clear path for development and progression. You will be joining an established and supportive business, with the opportunity to take on true responsibility from your first day!
We are ideally looking for someone with experience across both Personal and Corporate Tax (within Practice).
About The Role:
As a key part of the tax team, you’ll be working across a broad portfolio, with exposure to Personal Tax, Corporate Tax, and Trusts & Estates.
You’ll be given the chance to manage your own clients, while still having the support of an experienced Manager working alongside you.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients across Personal Tax and Corporate Tax.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring deadlines and compliance standards are met
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor
- Work closely with Tax Manager on technical matters and planning opportunities
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Experience in either Personal or Corporate Tax (mixed tax experience preferred)
- ATT and/or CTA qualified, or PQ with the ambition to finish the qualifications
- Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing work
