- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting on behalf of a unique company who are based in Esher. They are looking for a Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is 5 days in the office and you will be reporting in to the Head of Finance.
The successful candidate will have experience within Accounts Payables and/or Receivables.
Duties:- Liaising with Sales team to confirm customer receipts and making required amendments on booking system
- Reconciling stock movements between opening and closing stocks and comparing to monthly cost in the MA’s for stocked items and explaining differences
- Visit venues as necessary to implement and confirm processes are being adhered to assist the FD in the production of the Monthly Management Accounts (MA) and notes for the Obtaining the relevant month end reports and updating control accounts.
- Responsible for, and provide cover as necessary for the reconciliation of daily takings ,receipts for all venues.
- Preparing export files from booking system for import to the Sage Accounting system.
- Reconciliation of Bank accounts Petty Cash management
- Various analyses
- Self motivated
- Good MS Office skills - especially Excel (Pivots, etc) and Word
- knowledge of Sage Accounts
- Comfortable working in a small office environment
- Experience of working in a finance department.
