- Kenneth Brian are pleased to be wrorking with a thriving local buisness to seek a senior credit manager to lead a credit control department, manage the day-to-day operations, and to drive forward strategic improvements to processes and procedures.
You’ll be joining a thriving business and will manage the cash-flow of a business division with annual revenues.
You’ll lead a credit control department of 5 people through junior managers and team leaders, in an environment that continues to evolve through acquisitions, business development, expansion and culture change.
Responsibilities will include:- Operational management of the department - including recruitment, training, direction and development of staff
- Developing new targets, reporting processes and structures for increased transparency
- Transitional credit management projects
- Projects to further centralise credit control
- Reporting for senior management. This will encompass cash forecasting, aged debtor analysis, overdue debt information and actions taken, bad debt provisions and trade credit reviews.
- Provision of periodic reports & debt information for the Commercial and Operations teams.
- Customer visits.
- Hold regular debt reviews with Operation and Commercial teams regarding debt control.
- Process ownership - managing the credit checking process, the query management process, the dunning process, and the legal accounts process.
- Support the assistant credit managers and credit control team leaders in routine cash forecasting, credit management and account administration
- Review the weekly summary schedules with the assistant credit managers for a regular meeting with senior management
- A highly motivated credit control manager who can deliver workable solutions in a business sensitive environment. Achievement and results orientated.
