- Kenneth Brian Associates are working with an established business based in Leatherhead who are recruiting for a Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant to join their exciting team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role.
Main Duties:
Financial and business strategy- Support the Director of Finance and Head of Finance in financial strategy issues and recommended changes to the Partners.
- Support the production of the annual budget and financial strategy.
- Monitor adherence to the outcomes set out in the budget
- Recommend improvements to the budget plan.
- Create financial KPIs which will be used to assess the success of the business and the financial strategy.
- Analyse competitor and market financial information to assist with decision making
- Track performance against key targets and outcomes
- Develop regular financial reporting to give an overview of the financial performance of the business.
- Highlight trends, key actions, and strategic implications.
- Forecasting, cash flow analysis & working capital projections
- Produce reports and present the forecasts to the Partners
- Have previous experience in a commercially focussed/Fp&A/management accountant role
- Knowledge of a budgeting and forecasting cycle
- Be IT literate
- Have the ability to support and manage the development of others
