- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are working an established business based in Epsom who are recruiting for a Credit Control Assistant to join their exciting team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have some previous accounting experience and be willing to learn Credit Control.
Duties include:- Allocate payments to customer accounts and compile end of day reconciliation report.
- Monitor "customer remittance failure in box" and reformat rejections into PDF.
- Monitor the POD portal to ensure the nightly upload has been completed.
- Administer and produce consolidated and proforma Invoices.
- Monitor the daily production and distribution of standard invoices, reprocessing any rejections.
- Clear nil value invoices from the system.
- Process customer credit notes on system.
- Liaise with our sister companies ensuring accurate reconciliation of the sales ledger payments/receipts.
- Process and record customer credit card payments and prepare allocation document.
- Prepare customer refund paperwork.
- Monitor customer discount deductions and process on system.
- Document bad debt write offs and process on system.
- Review new accounts to ensure they are assigned to members of the team correctly.
- Review credit limits on the daily one-year anniversary report, run credit reports for the team to review.
- Run monthly statements and monitor the distribution of them.
- To review 3rd party P2P platforms for customer issues and manual upload of invoices.
- Review orders placed on the web for any possible fraud activity.
- To perform ad hoc projects at the request of the Credit Control Manager.
