- Description
- This is an excellent opportunity for a Finalist or Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA) looking to work in a Head Office environment for a national services business.
Key Responsibilities:-- Day to day management of the treasury function and being the main contact for bank queries.
- Making sure bank reconciliations performed on a regular basis and timely.
- Actively being involved in the month-end process, responsible for the accruals and prepayments and making sure that the month-end process running to the set timetable within the area of the Accountant responsibilities.
- Stock & cash management
- Reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts.
- Perform variance analysis of some of the cost and investigate any differences.
- Produce on a weekly and a monthly basis internal reporting within required time framework and to deal with any queries in an efficient and professional manner.
- Ad hoc projects.
- Assist senior accountant with various tasks
- Liaison with other departments.
- Manage 3 Finance Assistants
Bonus: 10% discretionary and subject to company performance- Holidays: 22 days rising to 25 days with service
