- Once again Kenneth Brian Associates are currently recruiting exclusively on behalf of a growing business based in the heart of Crawley.
We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller, for a growing and successful £50 million turnover business in the Crawley area.
Role:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the role has ownership of a small finance team with 2 direct reports. The role sits on the management team and provides support to operational and commercial functions.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dynamic and a great communicator looking to challenge the status quo to improve processes, controls as a platform to drive growth.
Main responsibilities include:- Production of monthly Management Accounts pack
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business decision making
- Preparation of annual budget and periodic re-forecasts
- Delivering working capital, cash flow and balance sheet forecasting and reporting
- Managing, mentoring and motivating the small accounts team
- Ensuring robust systems and controls are in place, suggesting improvements where needed
- Monitor multi-currency cash balances
- Managing the external audit process and liaising with auditors
- Liaison with bankers and provision of all documentation and reporting to support credit facility management
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience of Sage Line 50 a plus
- Cash flow management & forecasting
- Letter of credit management
- Multi-currency accounting
- Preferably a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) however we will consider QBE accountants too.
