- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are working exclusively with an entrepreneurial SME business based in Aldershot.
You will be directly reporting into the MD and 2 other key Directors whilst being responsible for the day-to-day management of the entire finance function. In addition, you will be managing a small team of 4 and will be required to liaise & communicate with other external departments.
Key responsibilities will include:- Preparation of the monthly management reports including analysis of budget variances.
- Completion of the month-end process and ensuring tasks are completed in line with month end schedule.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process by reviewing activities and analysing income, expenditure and forecasts.
- Working with the MD to plan and support with the annual audit, including finalising year-end figures.
- Leading on preparing and processing monthly VAT reporting on a timely basis.
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and completing journals for depreciation.
- Provide reports and analysis of information to the MD as required.
- Leading on the day-to-day management of the finance system and assisting with any queries.
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- At least 3 years’ experience in managing a team.
- AAT, ACCA OR CIMA qualified, QBE candidates will also be considered.
- Ability to communicate across all levels.
