The Role:
As Assistant Accountant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the finance function, gaining broad experience across areas including:
- Purchase and sales ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Invoicing and credit control
- Processing expenses and payments
- Assisting with month-end reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is driven, personable and keen to progress. You’ll ideally have some previous accounts experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll be someone who:
- Has a good understanding of accounting principles
- Is highly organised and detail-oriented
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
- Is keen to learn and take on additional responsibility
- Has strong Excel skills
- Is studying towards, or interested in pursuing, an accounting qualification
