- **Maternity Cover role to start mid August**
Kenneth Brian Associates are working with an established SME business based in Epsom to recruit a Financial Controller to cover maternity for approximately 12 months. The role has 3 direct management level reports, working closely with the Finance Director to continue to shape the finance function and improve processes and controls. This vacancy requires a qualified accountant who is a confident, hands-on individual with staff management experience and the ability to take a lead role in the management reporting processes, financial controls and month end.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing the finance team
- Preparing the monthly reporting pack to include p&l and variance analysis
- Managing budgets and forecasts
- Overseeing month end reports and analysis
- Tax planning for the year end
- Managing the year-end audit and statutory accounts
- Partnering with all departments to ensure alignment
Key Attributes:
- Proven experience leading a finance function
- Qualified Accountant ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Experience of imroving process and controls
