- Kenneth Brian Associates are pleased to be working with an established and expanding services business based in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with some finance experience from an accounts payable or receiveable background. AAT study support can be provided.
As this is a temp to perm role, you will need to be available to start the role at short notice.
You will be part of a highly energised and focussed team working to deliver financial support for the wider business. This is a very customer-driven organisation and you will need to have the ability to work alongside Senior Managers and customer focussed teams ensuring the finance support and delivery mirrors the positive value adding service.
As an Assistant Accountant, your key roles will be (but not limited to):
* Assist with and coordinate all billings
* Purchase Ledger - processing invoices and payments
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Assist the Management Accountants with the preparation of Cash Flow Forecasting
* Assist the Management Accountants with the preparation of annual budgets and Re-forecasting
* Take ownership of monthly corporate credit card reporting and reconciliations
* Daily posting of bank payments and receipts
* Bank Reconciliations
* Support with Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* Assist the Management Accountants with preparation of monthly management Accounts
* Set up of Purchase Orders where required
* Processing monthly staff expense claims ensuring in line with company policy
