Kenneth Brian Recruitment are working exclusively with a growing organisation based in Croydon, who are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated finance professional looking to take ownership of the day-to-day accounting function within a supportive and well established business. This is an office based role with parking, flexible hours with 3-4 days a week being ideal.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Lead budgeting cycles.
- VAT returns
- Monitor cashflow and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Manage all aged debtors
- Process all CIS payments
- Improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Confident using accounting software (Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and proactive approach.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
