Financial controller

Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a progressive and entrepreneurial business based in South West London who are looking to hire an ambitious ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified Financial Controller to join them on a permanent basis.

Reporting to entrepreneurial Directors and supervising 3 junior accountants, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the following duties:

Duties of the Financial Controller Role:

• Oversee/design and implement Financial Controls.
• Act as a true finance business partner with key stakeholders across the business in order to gain up-to-date data to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Lead the COO, lead on the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Produce monthly management accounting packs to present to the Senior Leadership Team
• Oversee all transactional accounting (AP/AR/Treasury) and payments.

Requirements of the Financial Controller Role:

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified Accountant
• Experience working within a hands on SME environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to mentor staff
• Strong finance systems skills
