Finance Assistant - Entry Level

Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a fast-growing and dynamic company based in Warlingham, who are looking to hire an enthusiastic and motivated Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate, someone currently studying AAT, or an individual with up to 1 year of relevant experience looking to start or progress their career in finance.

This role offers hands-on experience across a range of accounting tasks, and full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be supported in their development and offered opportunities for progression as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the processing of purchase and sales invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with supplier queries
• Assisting with bank reconciliations
• Updating and maintaining financial records
• General administrative support to the finance team

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or currently studying AAT)
• Up to 1 year of experience in a finance or office-based role (not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
