Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for an amazing company in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is due to growth within the company they are looking for someone who has a good knowledge of transactional accounts but someone who is looking to learn from Financial Controller and would like to progress with the role in to becoming a Finance Manager.
Main Duties:
- Process AP invoices
- Process employee expenses
- VAT return preparation
- Monthly GL journals
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control
- Payment run preparation
- Other ad-hoc finance duties
- Support with AR invoices for holiday cover
- Support with PO raising process for holiday cover
Once comfortable with the above, the role will progress to include the following duties.
- Intercompany transactions/reconciliation
- Control of group cashflows for shareholder reporting
- Other management reporting on an ad-hoc basis
- Review and assistance with YE close process and annual accounts
- ONS surveys
- Insurance and other contract management
- Management of payroll
