- Kenneth Brian Associates are working on a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Buyer to join a company based in Redhill.
This is an entry level role, which would a graduate looking for a career in Buying, or someone with some experience who has an interest in Buying.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers
- Building and maintaining product knowledge
- Managing supplier contracts to ensure the timely delivery of products
- Working closely with the Operations, Technical and Sales teams
- Checking stock levels and maintaining sufficient stock cover
- Assisting with tender submissions
- Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Liaising with suppliers to keep up to date with products
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
- 2.1 or above in a relevant degree
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical and process minded
- Commercial awareness
- Numeral skills
- Confident with a “can-do” attitude
- Motivated and results driven
