- Kenneth Brian Associates have been retained to work with an exceptional and growing business based in the heart of Esher, in their search for an experienced Financial Business Partner on a 12 month fixed term contract with the opportunity for the role to become permanent and to start within the next month.
As the Finance Business Partner you play a pivotal role for the organisation and will report directly into the Group Financial Controller.
Key Duties:- Production of monthly management accounts, with overhead analysis and variance
- Preparation of statutory financial statements for audit and non audit.
- Main point of contact for auditors during fieldwork.
- Reconciling, balancing and investigating of general ledger accounts ensuring robust financial controls are maintained over all accounts.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements relating to the production of financial information
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolving any differences.
- Monthly reconciliation and confirmation of intercompany loans and accounts within the operating businesses
- Monthly overhead analysis and variances
- Posting monthly journals and supplier invoices
- Preparing payment runs
- Preparation of P11Ds and PSA and submission to HMRC
- Other adhoc tasks as required by the Group FC.
- Ideally, you will be a Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), however our client will also consider QBE.
- Must be available to start by 1st October.
- Experience preparing management accounts and financial statements.
- Audit background with taxation knowledge preferable
- Solid accounting experience
- Good excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines with accurate results.
- Confident at building new relationships and deal with senior management
- Positive, energetic, can-do attitude and hands on approach.
