- Kenneth Brian Associates are working on a fantastic part time opportunity, and we are keen to speak to candidates with Housing experience, specifically in the field of giving advice to tenants around their finances.
This is a part time role, working 14 hours a week (across 2-3 days), and access to a vehicle is essential, to carry out visits to residents (car allowance provided).
The role will involve:
- Supporting residents to maximise their income, and minimise their outgoings
- Providing practical advice, information and support on a range of topics including welfare benefits, debt advice, food banks etc.
- Liaising with internal and external partners
- Visiting residents in their homes, and working with them to improve their circumstances
- Making referrals where appropriate to other organisations
- Making repayment arrangements for rent arrears
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience within housing, with knowledge of welfare benefits
- Experience of providing advice around welfare, debt and money advice
- Outstanding customer service, networking and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- High level of written and verbal communication
- Driving licence and access to own vehicle
The role offers a salary of £14,063 for 14 hours per week, plus car allowance of £480 per annum. Benefits include pension, parking and training and development opportunities.
