- Kenneth Brian Associates are proud to be assisting in the recruitment for an incredible company based in Leatherhead, who are recruiting a new Head of Finance to join their exceptional team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be be responsible for the Finance team with direct reports from the Financial Accountant and Management Accountant.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:- To lead, manage and motivate the Finance team.
- Prepare monthly Management accounts.
- Production of annual Statutory Financial statements
- Lead on the annual Budget setting process, providing necessary guidance to the budget holders
- Ensure that effective financial systems/procedures are in place and adhered to.
- Assisting the Director of Finance in producing long term Business plans
- Provide costings for new projects and assist with the preparing tenders
- Qualified accountant
- Experience managing a team
- Experience of preparing statutory accounts to UK GAAP standard
- Good technical and analytical skills
- Well organized with strong management skills
- Pro-active communicator
- Excellent attention to detail
