- Kenneth Brian Associates are currently working with an established company based in Ewell to recruit an interim Management Accountant with the possibility of a permanent role.
You will be working in a hands-on role within an experienced Finance function, reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller where you will be responsible for supporting and producing the companies Management Accounts. The ideal candidate will have worked within a similar role and will be immediately available or on a short notice period.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:- Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
- Prepare both weekly and monthly management accounts, including department income statements, balance sheet and other financial documents.
- Prepare weekly and month end journals
- Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
- Analyse financial statements of Franchise offices such as P&L accounts and cash flows
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
- Take ownership of intercompany reconciliations, raise and process recharge invoices between companies within the Group, developing knowledge of intergroup transactions
- Provide financial support and information to senior managers and employees across the Group
- Provide support to the Group Financial Controller and other Finance Team members to ensure relevant deadlines are met
- Handle and respond to queries relating to invoices
- Processing client invoices
- Manage or coordinate various financial projects
- Banking, arranging payments, bank reconciliations
- Checking and processing purchase invoices, agreeing to Purchase orders
- Excel
- Prior experience of managing a team, and producing financial reports and analyses.
- Strong organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.

- Experience of taking initiative, driving change and a dynamic approach to systems and processes to improve quality and efficiency
- Confidence and authority to deal with directors and senior manager
