- Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting on behalf of a well known construction company based locally in Epsom who are looking to hire a Credit Controller to join their team on a temporary basis for 8 weeks.
Main Duties of Job:
To ensure the timely collection of payments from customers, including following up on overdue accounts and reconciling payments. Appropriately manage customer queries in a thorough and timely manner.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:- Maintaining regular contact with clients and following up overdue invoices by letter, telephone calls, or by email.
- Appropriate liaison with customers, ensuring requests and queries are dealt with thoroughly to a successful and timely outcome.
- The ability to respond to customers and stakeholders alike in a professional manner.
- Ensure work is accurate and Complete in a timely manner
- To prioritise duties to meet monthly cash and quarterly debt targets.
- Resolve & investigate queries by creating and maintaining a Salesforce case, through to raising credit requests.
- Undertake account reconciliations, obtain remittances for unallocated cash and credits, action debit notes. Ensuring that aged debt is collected in a timely manner
- Working with and supporting the Credit Control Team
- Producing debt reports and reconciliations at month end, ensuring there are no outstanding items.
- Update cash forecast and other AR reports as directed.
- To follow company policy, procedures and guidelines.
- At least 1 years experience as a credit controller
- High Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team
