Description
Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a well-established employer based in Epsom, who are seeking a Compliance Officer to join their team.
 
The role will involve assisting with compliance oversight activities, detecting, investigating and reporting on compliance issues.
 
Specific responsibilities will include:
 
  • Assisting with the completion, updating and reporting on the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Conducting reviews and reporting on compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements and codes of practice
  • Conducting regular reviews and providing feedback and recommendations
  • Recording, reviewing and approving financial promotions
  • Advising staff regarding complaint policies and procedures
  • Keeping up to date with knowledge of compliance risks and regulatory requirements
  • Assisting in the production of management information or other reports
  • Assisting in the assessment of training and competency requirements of employees, and in the development of internal training courses
  • Identifying and assisting in the implementation of improvements
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of documentation and manuals
 
To be considered for this role, you will need:
 
  • Experience of working in an FCA and PRA regulated organisation
  • Ability to monitor and review current practices and summarise findings and recommendations and actions
  • An ability to communicate complex ideas in a non-technical way
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • An ability to present management information in an effective way
  • Ability to proactively prioritise and manage workload
