- Kenneth Brian Associates are working on an exclusive basis with a leading SME service business to hire a Financial Controller. This is a progressive opportunity which will become a broader role within the business over time as they continue to expand operations.
The successful candidate will ideally be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified and have previous staff management experience. You will be hands-on in terms of the production of Management Accounts and P&L ownership along with being commercially astute. This is a very visible role across the business in which you will business partner other department heads and work with Senior Management to drive change and identify new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:-
* Managing a team of 5 finance staff overseeing accounts payable, receiveable and credit control
* The production of monthly management accounts with commentary
* Produce annual budgets and monthly forecasts
* Weekly sales forecasts and analysis
* Streamline current processes and suggest changes to current working practice
* Assist the board with operational decisions to increase commercial performance
