- Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a prestigious brand based in Sutton looking to hire an Management Accountant to join their busy finance team. This is a temporary role for around 6 months but there will be plenty opportunities to go permanent throughout the duration. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role, mainly with experience in P&L and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also need to be available immediately or on a short notice period.
Key Responsibilities:-- Produce accurate and timely management accounts for the UK and it's subsidiaries including P&L and balance sheet.
- Review, analyse and commentary on financial performance compared to budget, prior year and forecast.
- Prepare month end journals and adjustments where necessary.
- Supporting the Group Financial Controller with monthly and annual group consolidations as necessary.
- Support reviewing of reconciliation performed by other team members
- Taking ownership of all intercompany reconciliation processes and developing knowledge of all intergroup transactions.
- Supporting UK and subsidarycashflow reporting and forecasting and assisting with group cashflow reports.
- Oversight of UK and subsidary credit control and accounts payable
Has high professional standards with good communication skills to support and promote the capability of the finance department internally within the business.
Ability to solve problems and implement solutions necessary to ensure financial reporting improves over time.
Advanced Excel skills.
