- Kenneth Brian Associates are exclusively working with a well known and expanding business in the heart of Croydon.
Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join their well established and ever growing Finance team.
Key Duties- Develop reporting and analysis, build/maintain models to provide analytical support, use data from multiple sources and provide insights to guide business
- Carry out deep dives of the business results to identify and understand underlying issues
- Develop scenario analysis/what if scenarios for different levels and areas of the business (top level holistic down to single service, as well as for possible new business tranches and growth opportunities)
- Work with different levels of the business (leadership, business partners, area and service managers) in the organisation to work on understanding/improving performance
- Work with the business to support preparation of budgets and re-forecasts
- Help with implementation of new systems, platforms, and finance processes
- Build collaborative working practices across finance function and wider business
- Push for constant technical improvement and innovation of processes
- Research and arrange for relevant ongoing training and development for staff
- QBE, Part qualified or Newly qualified accountant with experience of financial planning, modelling and reporting.
- Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
- Experience of building strong business partnering relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate, verbally and written, with finance and non-finance people at different levels of the business
- Highly numerate with an analytical approach to problem solving
- Advanced excel skills (including VBA) and confidence with financial modelling
- Comfortable with working with large, complex data sets and multiple systems
- Open to new ideas and solution oriented
- Experience with Power BI/similar data visualization software
- Experience with PS Financials
- Experience with Data warehouse maintenance
- Oracle experience
