- Kenneth Brian Associates are supporting a Wallington based company with recruitment for a Communications Executive to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a very busy team, with responsibility for external communications. Responsibilities will include:
- Research and generate relevant information for the company website, newsletters and social media (LinkedIn and Twitter)
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Executive, and liaising with other departments where required
- Review incoming press releases and product update emails and publish to the relevant channels
- Ensure the website is up to date with reference material, advice and guidance
- Manage website content
- Writing new articles and maintaining archives
- Attend meetings and webinars to keep up to date with industry updates
- Attend events, managing onsite press area and information requests, collate press packs, and source quotes and testimonials from exhibitors and visitors
- Write copy for editorial contribution to publications
- Writing press releases and proofreading
- Coordinate with freelance writers
- Ensuring that all communications meet brand standards
- Respond to media enquiries
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Confident writer with the ability to adapt writing styles to reflect the audience
- Strong networking skills
- Experience of producing social media content
- Proficiency in MS Office, Dynamics, WordPress, Mailchimp etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
