- Once again Kenneth Brian Associates are currently recruiting exclusively on behalf of a growing business based in the heart of Mid Sussex.
We are currently seeking a Financial Controller (fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant), for a growing and successful £80 million turnover business in Haywards Heath.
Reporting directly to the FD, the purpose of the role is to take ownership of the small finance function with 2 direct reports. This position will work closely with Finance, Management, Purchasing and Sales functions.
Main responsibilities include:- Production of monthly Management Accounts pack
- Undertaking Financial, Product and Project Analysis and extensive reporting
- Preparation of annual budget and periodic re-forecasts
- Delivering working capital, cash flow and balance sheet forecasting and reporting
- Managing, mentoring and motivating the small accounts team
- Ensuring robust systems and controls are in place, suggesting improvements where needed
- Functional oversight and approver for accounts payable/receivable
- Monitor multi-currency cash balances
- Control of cost accounting process for manufacturing sector of business
- Supporting the external audit process
