- Kenneth Brian Associates are working exclusively with a rapidly expanding global retail business based in Central Wimbledon.
We are recruiting for a Management Accountant ideally fully qualified or finalist level (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) to join a solid team on a permanent basis, tasked with taking ownership of various projects, maintaining and delivering all financial information and ensuring accurate reports are delivered to key stakeholders.
This role will be office based 5 days per week.
Reporting directly into the Finance Director you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and consolidation of the UK accounts
- Oversee monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet items and stock counts
- Weekly and monthly reporting to the US parent company
- Assist in monitoring the operational performance through providing detailed operational analysis
- Preparation and submission of statutory returns including VAT in UK and Ireland
- Control the accuracy of standing data in the ERP system and standard costs.
- Monitor and control working capital including debtor collection.
- Capable of assisting in other areas such as pricing and production planning.
- Assist in the annual audit and other ad hoc tasks
Experience and qualifications:
A qualified accountant with experience in manufacturing. The individual is likely to have had several years’ experience in manufacturing post qualification. Other key skills are:
- Advance Excel skills
- Knowledge and experience of using an ERP system in a manufacturing environment
- Ability in SQL would be an advantage
- Organised and able to work to tight deadlines
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferred)
- MUST HAVE MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE
- MS Excel (Intermediate-Advanced) - vlookup/if/or/sumifs/pivot-tables etc
