- Kenneth Brian Associates are working on an exclusive basis with a leading SME business within the Retail Sector to hire a Management Accountant to work on a full or part-time basis. The business are experiencing huge growth so they require some additional assistance in the finance team. This vacancy would ideally suit someone looking at 2 or 3 days per week and the hours per day can be flexible. Please note this role is office based.
To be considered for this position you will need to have a proven track record of producing a full set of monthly management accounts rather than experience of assisting with them. Qualified and Qualified by Experience candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:-- Preparation of timely month-end and yearly management accounts.
- Analysing product margins and overheads variances to budget
- P&L and Balance Sheet maintenance and control and pro-actively investigating reconciled items
- Variance analysis of contract results for Management
- Run the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process
- Cashflow analysis
- Proven experience of producing Management Accountants
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, with accurate outputs
