- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for a well-known Housing Association, who are looking for a Housing Officer, with specific responsibility for tackling anti-social behaviour, tenancy fraud and sub letting.
This is a fixed term contract for a period of 6 months.
Duties will include:
- Tackling anti-social behaviour, tenancy fraud and sub letting
- Investigating, enforcement and preventative activities to support tenants to maintain their tenancies.
- Conducting interviews and witness statements, help preparing legal proceedings including acting as Court Witness
- Pursue appropriate legal action including injunctions, possession orders etc.
To be considered, you will need the following:
- Recent experience within the Housing sector
- Up to date knowledge of Housing legislation
- Experience of dealing with vulnerable people and complex situations, including dealing with tenancy enforcement
- Must be a driver, as there will be travelling involved as part of the role
- Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent)
