- Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a really well established Accountancy Firm based in Leatherhead to hire a Bookkeeper on either a full or part time basis. This role offers flexibility around working hours and onsite parking so could be perfect for someone needing to work around school hours, or equally someone looking for a full time opportunity.
You do not need to have previously worked for an accountancy firm, but it would be an advantage. You will however have had experience of processing transactions and reconciling bank statements using online accounting software along with knowledge of VAT returns.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Take ownership of various clients Xero accounts, reconciling numerous transactions.
- Liaising with clients over any discrepancies or to ensure correctness.
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns, again liaising with clients over any queries they may have.
- Ad-hoc support to the wider accounts team and picking up work as required.

Please note you will be required to work in the office, but there may be the opportunity to WFH once or twice a week once you understand the requirements of the role.
