- Kenneth Brian Associates are working exclusively with a rapidly expanding global retail business based in Epsom.
We are recruiting a fully Qualified Management Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) to join a solid team on a permanent basis, tasked with taking ownership of various projects, maintaining and delivering all financial information and ensuring accurate reports are delivered to key stakeholders.
Reporting directly into the Finance Director you will be Responsible for the following:
Tasks include, but are not limited to:- Preparation of quarterly management accounts
- Preparation of monthly operating statement
- Review of basic journals prepared by accounts assistants
- Act as a cover for Payroll
- Monthly stock reconciliation
- Input and challenge of Budget/Re-forecast assumptions around costs
- Assist the FD with process improvement - in particular, that around stock reconciliation between Finance and Sales systems.
- Coordinating and collating information from our annual audit
- Assist with developing a process for reviewing/challenging the accuracy of Standard Costs with the aim of moving this to a quarterly review.
- Dealing with Queries and other ad-hoc work from other areas of the business
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CA/CIMA preferred) with at least 1 year PQE
- Degree level
- MS Excel (Intermediate-Advanced) - vlookup/if/or/sumifs/pivot-tables etc
