- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are working with an established business in based in Sutton to hire a Assistant Financial Accountant on a 12 month FTC. This role will suit someone who is ACCA/CIMA/ACA part qualified, has worked within a similar role and is available on a short notice period.
Key Responsibilities will include:-- Producing group consolidations through UK & ROW
- Statutory and tax reporting - reviewing current reports and amending/implementing new
- Preparing financial reports to assess financial performance of the business
- Analysing financial information across the business, supporting profitability and growth through recommendations
- Producing company statutory accounts, making observations of the financial state of the business
- Preparing month end and year end reports, reviewed by Financial Controller
- Cash flow management, re-modelling and forecasting with internal Managers
- Preparing and submitting VAT/Tax & pension returns
- Managing reconciliation accounts, reporting and reconciling of balance sheets
- Assisting the Financial Controller implement efficient and diligent financial practices
- Making suggestions for system/process improvements where needed
- ACCA/ACA Part Qualified
- Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting capacity - Essential
- A good understanding of general accounting functions - Essential • Knowledge of financial reporting, tax and treasury functions - desirable
- Good attention to detail, organised, efficient and accurate approach
- Positive, practical 'cando' attitude
- Strong communication skills - verbal & written
- Strong Excel skills
- Willingness to learn new skills
