- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are working in partnership with a leading housing provider in the Epsom area, to recruit an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join their team.
This is a key role, and will involve ensuring a high-quality housing management service, dealing with tenancy management and preventing Anti Social Behaviour.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents and stakeholders
- Working with customers all stages throughout the tenancy
- Manage and enforce tenancy conditions.
- Taking relevant court action where necessary
- Ensuring any areas of concern are correctly reported in line with health and safety
- Carrying out visits, and reviewing and monitoring the tenancy process
- Completing pre-void and end of tenancy processes
- Managing internal transfers and mutual exchange applications
- Liaising with other housing providers and relevant agencies
- Carrying out tenancy audit visits and checking on property condition
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Relevant experience within the Housing sector
- Understanding of current Housing law
- Qualifications at GCSE level or equivalent
- Experience of handling difficult situations
- Experience of dealing with vulnerable customers
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside of normal office hours
