- Kenneth Brian Associates are exclusively partnering a thriving National Services business to hire a Financial Controller following a restructure of Group Finance. This vacancy back fills an internal promotion and will be responsible for leading and developing a team of 5 Accountants and a transactional team. This role is office based with occasional UK travel (1-2 days per month).
To be considered for this vacancy you will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, hands-on, commercially focused, with the ability to shape change in a business with aggressive growth plans for 2021 and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:-
* Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts including reconciliation of all control accounts
* Responsible for the annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes, preparing budgets and forecasts for the UK cost centres
* Taking a leadership role in financial systems upgrade and ongoing development to drive efficiencies
* Support business decision making through the timely assessment of financial and reporting implications
* Create a motivated, professional finance team who are driven to succeed and able to meet both corporate and personal objectives, responsive to business needs.
Key Criteria:-
* Experience of managing a finance team with a strategic and operational focus
* Demonstrable experience of working in a commercial environment.
* Financial literacy, including relevant experience in financial management and forecasting.
* Highly developed interpersonal and professional communication skills
