Part time Accountant

Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a growing and dynamic consumer business based in the finance district of London who are looking to appoint a hands-on Assistant Accountant/ Bookkeeper to support the Finance Director and take ownership of the day-to-day finance function - on a part time basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage transactional finance processes while producing accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping function
• Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
• Bank reconciliations and cash management
• Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
• Producing management information and financial statements from Xero
• Supporting VAT returns and basic tax compliance processes
• Assisting with month-end close and reporting
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external advisers where required

About You

• Previous experience in a Bookkeeper or similar finance role
• Strong working knowledge of Xero
• Confident managing transactional finance processes independently
• Experience producing financial reports / statements
• Proactive, organised and able to “get things done”
