Bookkeeper

Kenneth Brian Recruitment are working exclusively with a growing organisation based in Leatherhead, who are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated finance professional looking to take ownership of the day-to-day accounting function within a supportive and well established business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing variance analysis and commentary.
• VAT returns
• Monitor cashflow and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Manage all aged debtors
• Improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Confident using accounting software (Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and proactive approach.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
