Finance Manager

Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a dynamic and growing retail distribution business based in the Wimbledon area, who are looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager to support their financial operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a hands-on role. You’ll be joining a close-knit team and playing a key role in managing the day-to-day finance function, providing insights to support business decisions and ensuring strong financial controls are in place as the company continues to grow.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Producing management accounts with commentary
• Preparing annual budgets
• Producing year end accounts and monthly, quarterly and annual reports to management
• Weekly balance sheet and reconciliations
• Create weekly sales reports on Excel
• Overseeing Credit control and debtor management
• Overseeing the updating of transactions and relevant spreadsheets correctly and efficiently
• Preparing VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts

Skills & Experience Requirements

• A formal accountancy qualification is preferable
• Retail/Distribution or manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Excellent organisation, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Co-operative and adaptable attitude with ability to use own initiative
• Strong Excel skills
