Description

Kenneth Brian Associates are excited to be recruiting for a well-established client based in Reigate, who are looking for a Category Insights Executive to support their growing sales and marketing functions. This role will sit within the Sales & Marketing team, and will be responsible for providing detailed category insights and market analysis in line with scheduled and ad-hoc requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of market data and the ability to turn insights into actionable recommendations. Working closely with the sales team, this position will help shape compelling, insight-led presentations that support both customer growth and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to build tailored, data-led presentations for retail and trade partners
  • Competitor analysis – creating and maintaining regular market reports e.g. presenting data through graphs on market trends and analysing competitor pricing.
  • Provide clear, strategic recommendations on category development, grounded in market and shopper insights
  • Analyse, interpret and present data from a range of sources to highlight trends, risks and opportunities
  • Support wider marketing activity through research and insight generation

Ideal Candidate:

  • Similar experience within an FMCG company
  • Preferably having experience with Circana, NeilsenlQ or Kantar data platforms
  • Must have a full driver’s license
  • Educated to degree level (2:1 or above), ideally in a numerical, analytical, or business-related field
  • Confident working with large data sets and turning analysis into commercially relevant narratives
  • Strong communication skills – able to present data in a clear, compelling way
  • Previous experience in a similar category, insights or analyst role is beneficial
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential

Based in Reigate four days a week, with one day per week from home, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a fast-paced, commercially driven role with lots of exposure across the business.

We look forward to receiving your application.
