- Kenneth Brian Associates are working on a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a company based in Morden/Mitcham. This will be a hybrid role, 2 days minimum in the office and the other 3 from home.
This is a stand-alone HR role, so they are looking for someone very hands-on, who is happy to be involved in everything from onboarding of new employees through to dealing with complex ER issues.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Providing HR advice to managers on all HR policies and procedures
- Coaching managers in all areas including disciplinary and grievance, performance management and talent development
- Ensuring up to date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, and advising managers accordingly
- Working with managers to advise on employee development needs
- Manage Payroll and be the first point of contact for HR and payroll queries
- Implement HR projects and programmes
- Maintaining employee records, preparation of letters and responding to external requests for information
The ideal candidate for the role will possess the following:
- CIPD qualified
- Proven experience in an HR Manager/Senior HR Advisor role
- Good understanding of HR disciplines including employee relations, rewards and benefits, payroll, HR reporting, HR systems, learning and development, and resourcing
- Able to demonstrate strong coaching, consultation, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office and HR systems
- Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Able to work in a stand-alone role
The company offer a competitive salary of £47,000 - £50,000, and a benefits package including 10% discretionary bonus, private medical cover and pension.
