- Kenneth Brian Associates are working on an exclusive basis to hire a Finance Manager for a hugely successful and rapidly expanding SME business based in Chertsey.
The ideal candidate will have strong management, numerical and analytical skills to drive the organisation's financial operation and improve financial performance.
This high profile position will form a pivotal role carrying significant levels of responsibility, business partnering across the company's operations.
To be considered for this vacancy you will have had similar experience working for an SME or a subsidiary of a larger Group, with hands-on staff management skills, the ability to drive change and provide pro-active partnering throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:-
Manage the daily activity for the accounts team, ensure all processes are compliant with accounting regulations, train staff when required and complete annual appraisals.
Oversee the month end close procedure, setting deadlines to ensure all actions are completed on a timely basis.
Produce monthly P&L, along with spend analysis, standard costings and regulate general overheads and travel expenditure.
Working closely with the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager overseeing internal controls, suggesting efficiencies and work with the management team to set financial targets and implement new KPI’s and reporting.
Present information in a clear and concise manner working closely with the Market Development Manager to expand the current monthly sales reporting and to promote revenue growth.
Oversee monthly sales commission calculations and payments
External reporting to include filing of VAT returns, intrastat and online EC sales.
