- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are working on an exclusive basis with a market leading services business, who are experiencing tremendous growth. This role has overall responsibility for preparing company management accounts, detailed reporting and analysis relating to both revenue and costs to help drive key business decisions. You will also be responsible for driving process improvements and reporting, business partnering with budget holders in order to enhance business performance.
Key Responsibilities:-- Month end management accounts
- Maintain accurate revenue recognition schedules with full analytical detail
- Development of reporting to support all stakeholders
- Financial control of all stock records
- Quarterly VAT returns and EC Sales List for all companies
- Complete and submit surveys to 'Office of National Statistics’ as and when they are received
- Ensure accurate reporting of imports for Deferment VAT
- To assist with year-end alongside support for statutory accounts
- Review and development of financial controls and processes
- Ad hoc projects and support for the FC
Desirable Experience:-- AAT Qualified or final stages studier or newly qualified (CIMA\ACCA)
- High level of computer literacy - needs to be a proficient user of financial systems
- Advanced Excel skills including look- ups, pivot tables and use of advanced formulae
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident communicator at all levels
- Ability to analyse, interpret and provide insight on financial reports
- A good understanding of the different functions of finance
