Description
Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting on behalf of a well known company based in Leatherhead.
Due to expansion we are looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a vibrant team on a permanent full-time basis, the ideal candidate will have a worked within a similar and will be able to travel to Leatherhead everyday to work.

Your main duties will include;

  • Processing of suppliers invoices by matching to purchase orders
  • Processing of overhead invoices
  • Filing of paperless invoicing
  • New supplier setups
  • Resolving supplier invoice queries internally & externally via telephone and email
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Checking transport costs by liaising with internal staff
  • Verification of bank details
  • Payment runs to external and internal suppliers
  • To provide cover for other members of the team in times of absence
  • Any other adhoc tasks required
  •  
Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous accounting experience
  • Knowledge and experience of Sage 50 desirable
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
