Kenneth Brian Associates are working with an expanding organisation based in Guildford, who are currently seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage digital marketing content, working closely with the Head of E-Commerce to devise and implement digital marketing strategy.
Responsibilities of the role will involve:- Working closely with the Head of E-Commerce to devise strategies to drive online traffic to the organisation’s websites
- Collaborate with the Head of E-commerce to manage external agencies and monitor return on investment
- Alongside the Head of E-Commerce, address improvements the usability, design, content and conversion of the company websites
- Work with the SEO/Content Manager to create and maintain website content and ensure all content is up to date, meets best practices and SEO best practices
- Working closely with the SEO/Content Manager and Product/Content Merchandiser to ensure new products are swiftly launched and appropriate launch plans are in place
- Provide weekly/monthly analytical reports on product and site performance, which in turn will influence future digital activity
- With the rest of the E-Commerce team act as a brand guardian in terms of look and feel of online communications as well as tone of voice of copy
- Responsible for direct report of 3-4 other individuals
- Planning/execution of email strategies and to use CRM to maximise online marketing opportunities
- Take responsibility for the creation, on-going management and implementation of the digital marketing calendar
To be considered for the role, you will need the following:- Demonstrable practical experience in website content management and creation
- A strong working knowledge of the overall digital marketing mix - Email, SEO, Content and Affiliates
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable profitable marketing campaigns
- Knowledge using Magento, WordPress, Google Analytics and SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and excellent editing skills
- Strong strategic mindset with ability to build rapport with internal and external business partners
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
