We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a growing team based in Chislehurst. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident payroll professional who has experience managing high-volume payrolls and working with timesheet-driven environments.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 300 employees, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for 300+ staff across weekly and/or monthly payrolls
- Collate, check and input timesheets accurately
- Ensure overtime, holiday pay, statutory payments and deductions are processed correctly
- Manage starters, leavers and payroll amendments
- Respond to payroll queries from employees in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and current payroll legislation
- Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end procedures
- Liaise with HR and management teams regarding payroll data
About You
- Proven experience processing payroll for 300+ employees
- Strong experience working with timesheets and variable pay
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory payments
- Confident using payroll systems and Excel
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Professional and discreet when handling confidential information
