Accounts & Tax Senior / Manager – Wimbledon
Kenneth Brian Associates are delighted to be working with a highly regarded, forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants based in Wimbledon. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Accounts & Tax Senior / Manager to join their friendly and collaborative team.

The Role
You will take responsibility for managing a varied client portfolio and supporting the wider team, combining hands-on technical work with leadership and advisory input.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and finalising statutory accounts prepared by the team
- Overseeing corporation tax and personal tax computations and returns
- Providing ad hoc advisory support and identifying opportunities to add value
- Ensuring all work is delivered to a high technical standard and within deadlines
- Acting as a main point of contact for clients, delivering clear and proactive communication
Team Leadership
- Line managing two direct reports, providing guidance and ongoing development
- Reviewing team work and offering constructive feedback
- Assisting with workflow planning, capacity management, and deadlines
- Supporting training and development of junior staff
- Contributing positively to team culture and collaboration
Practice Support
- Liaising with partners and senior management on client portfolio matters
- Supporting continuous improvement of internal processes and systems
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
The Ideal Candidate
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Strong background in general practice accountancy
- Proven experience managing a client portfolio independently
- Previous experience supervising or managing staff
- Confident reviewing accounts and tax work
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, FreeAgent, QuickBooks, and TaxCalc
Benefits
- Salary: £48,000 – £55,000, depending on experience
