This is a part time role, 25 hours per week, ideally across 5 days, although there may be flexibility to work 4 days. Full time equivalent salary is £30,000 – actual salary for 25 hours per week is £20,000.
This is a key role within the team, providing support across a range of responsibilities:
- Tracking candidate applications, scheduling interviews and liaising with recruitment agencies
- Carrying out pre-employment checks, including right to work verification, financial background screening, DBS checks and reference verification
- Onboarding new starters, setting up on HR and Payroll systems and ensuring all documentation is completed
- Coordinating inductions for new starters
- Maintaining accurate HR records, processing changes and responding to queries
- Assist with monthly payroll
- Monitoring HR inbox
- Administer healthcare benefits, enrolling employees and processing changes
- Updating pension portal for new joiners
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
- Strong administrative skills
- Experience ideally within Human Resources
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Professional manner, both on the phone and in person
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in MS Office suite with the ability to learn new systems
