Tax Assistant

Kenneth Brian Associates are exclusively partnering with a 4 partner Practice based in Leatherhead in their search for a Tax Assistant.

We are ideally looking for someone with experience across both Personal and Corporate Tax (within Practice).

About The Role:

As a key part of the tax team, you’ll be working across a broad portfolio, with exposure to Personal Tax, Corporate Tax, and Trusts & Estates.

You’ll be given the chance to manage your own clients, while still having the support of an experienced Manager working alongside you.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients across Personal Tax and Corporate Tax.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring deadlines and compliance standards are met
• Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor
• Work closely with Tax Manager on technical matters and planning opportunities

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Experience in either Personal or Corporate Tax (mixed tax experience preferred)
• ATT and/or CTA qualified, or PQ with the ambition to finish the qualifications
• Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing work
